Radu Marculescu, Assistant Professor of ECE, and his students Tudor Dumitras and Sam Kerner won the best paper award at this year's Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASP-DAC) on Jan. 21-24 in Kitakyushu, Japan. The title of the paper is "Towards On-Chip Fault-Tolerant Communication." Dumitras is a graduate research assistant, while Kerner is an Integrated MS/BS Degree (IMB) student.
At the conference, Marculescu also gave a full-day tutorial on "Energy-Aware Networked Multimedia Systems: Modeling, Analysis and Optimization." Professor M.
