Asim Smailagic, Senior Research Scientist, Institute for Complex Engineered Systems and Electrical and Computer Engineering, is a Program Committee Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Symposium on VLSI in Pittsburgh, PA for April of 2002. He also has been appointed Associate Editor of the new journal, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, for the 2002-2004 term and is a Guest Editor of the IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems Special Issue on Systems Level Design for December 2001.
