Tsuhan Chen, associate professor of ECE, has been appointed editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia for a three year term, 2002-04. IEEE Transactions on Multimedia is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society, IEEE Communications Society, and IEEE Computer Society. The goal of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia is to integrate all aspects of multimedia systems and technology, signal processing, and applications.
