Report format
- Single-sided.
- 1.5 spacing.
- 11-point font (or Mac equivalent).
- No longer than 40 pages (including figures and appendices).
Report guidelines
At least one week prior to the completion date, students should supply the ECE Graduate Office with the following:
- The title of the Master's project.
- The names of two ECE committee members: the student's advisor and one other ECE faculty member.
The student's advisor is responsible for collecting the M.S. exam card and returning it to the ECE Graduate Office.
- The student should submit an electronic copy of the final version of the M.S. report to the ECE Graduate Office as a Word or PDF document. Once the paper has been processed, the student should visit the publications permission form if he or she wishes to distribute the paper via the ECE website.
- The student should update their diploma information online with Enrollment Services.
If you are leaving Carnegie Mellon
- Submit permanent contact information to the ECE Graduate Office.
- Return any office or lab keys to the appropriate office.
- Empty and clean out desk and/or office.
- Cancel health insurance.
- Clear any outstanding balances with the cashier.
