Description:

This course will familiarize students with the design of integrated circuit blocks that are commonly encountered in modern wireless communication transceivers which are implemented in fully integrated form in nanoscale CMOS technology. Topics include traditional and modern transceiver architectures, wideband low-noise amplifiers, frequency synthesizers (and their component blocks), N-path filters and millimeter-wave circuit blocks.
