Welcome to the website for the Carnegie Mellon IEEE Student Chapter. We are a student-run organization within the Department of ECE at Carnegie Mellon University. We host several meetings and social events during the semester including the popular "Tech Talks" from engineers at various companies and social events for our members to get to know each other.
The ECE department pays for sophomores to have 1 free year of membership in the
national IEEE organization. To apply, please follow these instructions and put
it in the IEEE membership folder at tech electronics. Please make sure
to sign and turn in the form and do not fill out payment information for the
membership. Turn it in before November 1st.
