About Me

I am a graduate student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where I work with Prof. Diana Marculescu as part of the Energy Aware Computing Research Group. I graduated with a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2004 and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2005.

Biographical Information

 

I grew up in India’s political capital, New Delhi, though I have also lived in Bombay, Madras, Bangalore and more recently in the Bay Area in California. I have to confess, though, no city has captured my imagination like Delhi has. To find out why, read this, or watch this. Madras (now called Chennai) is where I went to undergrad, years that I will always remember for the breakfasts at Saravana Bhavan after long nights at the beach, for the reckless bike trips and for the ill fated Water-Tower.
