Kumar Quoted on Wireless Headphones
Swarun Kumar was quoted in Consumer Reports on how true wireless headphones work. “True wireless” is the industry term for headphones that don’t have a cord or a cable connecting the two earpieces. They’re among the most popular models being sold today. But how do true wireless headphones work? “It’s a difficult engineering problem. Even if there's a minor delay between the audio and either ear, you're going to have distortions,” he says. The biggest challenge? “There's this big mass called ‘your head’ in between, which absorbs a lot of the signals.”
